My cousin is serving life for a non violent crime and were going up against the parole board this June.She has served 20 year's for an attempted burglary because she has 2 prior convictions that are felony's, so when sentenced she was a 3rd time felon and was hit with 25 - life! I know many people will think oh she is just a felon but it's a lot deeper then having sticky fingers . My cousin was born transgendered born as a man but always felt like she was in the the wrong body, so after years of struggling with her sexuality she finally became comfortable with the fact that she was born a He but wanted so badly to be a she ans would stop at nothing to feel normal. That's how the burglary's started, thinking she would get enough money to be what she always knew she was destined to be a woman. Well she obviously wasn't very good at her new life and paid with more then half her life, I know she has grown and deserves a second chance, So let's start changing today for a better tomorrow.
